Tonight (November 12th 2010) we got together for the first time to discuss 'The Well Educated Mind'. Our feelings about this group are very similar. We want to do more than socialize with a book. We want to study, learn, discuss, and grow with our reading.
We are all excited to read!
Our meetings will be held on the first Friday night of each month. Hopefully in the future we will be meeting more than once a month. One book a month is just not enough. We hope to meet more and read more. We'll see.
For now we will be reading Don Quixote by Miguel De Cervantes (1605). We will be meeting at Eve's on the 3rd of December to discuss it. Read, take notes, come prepared. YEA!
